Today we're coming to you with something different! If like me you have you makeup all over the place and need to store it so it doesn't lay around collecting bacteria...I think you will find our idea interesting!
How many cereal boxes, shoe boxes & milk cartons have you thrown away over the years?
Next time keep them, as they are great ways of creating storage boxes for your makeup!
Never thought of it didn't you? Well let's face it.....who would want to find half a carton of milk or a cereal box in his bedroom?
What if I told you that once the carton of milk is finished you won't be able to tell what it was??
All you will need is :
Milk carton or cereal box
Pretty wrapping paper
Paint brush
Glue
Scissors
With a pair of scissors cut the top part of the milk carton (the pyramid on top) and wash it well and leave it to dry WELL.
Now all you have to do is choose the size you want and cut the milk carton accordingly. I wanted it for my makeup brushes so I used half the carton.Cut the wrapping paper according to the size & with your paint brush cover all the carton with white glue. Make sure you cover about an inch or so on the inside too. Use your wrapping paper and cover all the carton. If you choose a plain wrapping paper you can also use a ribbon around the carton and finish it with a bow!
Some Tips: You can use cereal boxes for eye shadows , pencils & lipsticks. Just cut the cereal box very low (it's true you're wasting most of it but hey eat more cereal :P ) then put them next to each other in the nicely wrapped shoe box lid, so they don't move :)
